
Rohario Murray is a Barrister and co-founder of Kōkiri Chambers, recognised for her tikanga-based approach to public law, Māori legal issues, and environmental matters. With experience spanning policy, law, government, Māori business and tertiary education, she brings a broad, connected perspective to her governance roles. Rohario is a former Co-President of Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa and has served on Tauranga City Council’s Strategy, Finance and Risk Committee. She is currently a Trustee of Acorn Foundation and Chair of its Audit, Risk and Policy committee. She is also a tangata whenua representative on Tauranga Council’s Audit and Risk Committee. A graduate of Te Pīnakitanga ki te Reo Kairangi, she is proficient in te reo Māori and passionate about strengthening the visibility of Māori language and voices in Aotearoa and beyond.
