We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Technical Business Analyst Lead to guide and deliver business analysis functions across Whakaata Māori. This role will lead the alignment of technology solutions with organisational goals, while supporting and mentoring our Junior Technical Business Analyst.

You will play a key role in driving digital transformation by optimising workflows, improving processes, and ensuring our systems and platforms are robust, efficient, and future-focused. The position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, with a strong understanding of broadcasting technology and a passion for te ao Māori.

This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our East Tāmaki head office.

Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the business analysis function to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain business process portfolios and documentation standards.
  • Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
  • Ensure technology systems integrate effectively with business operations.
  • Oversee change management processes, including risk analysis, training, and go-live support.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor other kaihoe to strengthen their understanding and application of business process best practices
  • Promote continuous improvement through innovation and process optimisation.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | What you’ll bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • In-depth understanding of broadcasting technology, workflows, and systems.
  • Strong experience in process mapping, system integration, and solution design.
  • Proven ability to influence, lead, and collaborate across all organisational levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • A commitment to integrating te reo me ngā tikanga Māori into your work and fostering a culturally grounded approach to technology.
