
Olivier Van Hove is the Kaiwhakahaere Pūmanawa Tangata (People & Capability Manager) at Whakaata Māori, leading the organisation’s people strategy, workforce capability, and organisational development initiatives. With experience spanning the public and private sectors in complex and unionised environments, he brings expertise across the full employee lifecycle, including organisational change, leadership development, employment relations and talent management.
Olivier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and Public Administration, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. He combines commercial insight with a people-centred approach to leadership, supporting Whakaata Māori to attract, develop, and retain the talent needed to deliver on its kaupapa. His work helps strengthen organisational capability and foster a high-performing, values-led culture that enables our people and communities to thrive.
